9 mos post op and at a stall

Thanks for the good advice. I've been going through a bit of a stall right now myself since Thanksgiving. I need to go back to basics, and I plan to kickstart my eating plan as soon as the Christmas season is over. I did lose almost 2 1/2 lbs since Thanksgiving, so hopefully I'm going to be back on track soon. Stalling is no fun, but eventually this too shall pass.

My loss has slowed I am 10 months out, but I am still being conscious of the protein/fluid intake. I have been lax on logging my food/ drink but I do keep mental track. Exercise is slow since recovering from hip replacement surgery. I am getting up and down the basement stairs where I am working on reclaiming/mending my clothes. I have put new elastic in four skirts so far. Looking forward to spring and playing in my pool again.

So, I'm 9 mos post op and have lost 72 lbs since surgery. I've been on a stall for 4 weeks, not gaining or losing weight. Have this happened to anyone? Is there any recommendations to break the stall? I'm 20 lbs away from my goal weight.
I’m 6 months out and wondering if I’m done losing cause I’m not the type to stall often & I’ve been at the same weight for two weeks now. I’m also 20 lbs away from “goal” or what the docs think I will get down to. I’m down a total of 80lbs). 110% good with where I’m at though so at this point I’m mostly weighing to make sure I’m at least maintaining. Best wishes to you!

Some people have success by changing their diets. Time of day, choice of protein, adding lots of water, varying exercise... Just make a notable change, so your metabolism kicks into a different gear.

Also, wrote down every crumb and sip you take in. You may be eating too much.

And if you're not eating enough, your body may be protecting you. Change it up.
Yes! This is wonderful advice :)
