Acid Reflux

I am 3 years post op from Gastric Sleeve and over the past 1 and a half my acid reflux is getting worse. At my follow up last year I was told I could convert to a bypass to help. This year he wants me to take 2 Prilosecs a day 300 mg of Zantac. I have been on Prilosec off and on since 2014. I am afraid of the long term side effects. When I questioned him the response was not to listen to my pcp because he doesn't know and to trust him. I don't know what to do.

Getting the bypass will cut down on the reflux because all the acid is left in the lower part of the stomach. Are you able to drink milk. I have not had my surgery yet but milk calms my acid reflux.

Yes I do and was told that it doesn't help and I am making an excuse.

Then ask the doctor what can you do for it
