Am I the only one?

Hi all! I had a gastric sleeve Jan 2021. My highest weight was 380, I lost 114 lbs total so far. I NEVER burped before surgery but now I burp constantly, even if I fast, eat slow, don’t drink through a straw, etc
I had my gallbladder out 8 months after my surgery and it didn’t help. Today I had an upper GI to check for a hiatal hernia but that was not the problem. The radiologist stated that everything is going through my stomach faster than usual and may not be breaking down my food and I not only have air in my belly I have gas build up all throughout my gut, abdomen and everywhere. He said it has something to do with the small end of the stomach.
It’s embarrassing and has hendered me even from going out to eat because I burp so much. Has anyone else had this problem??
Also does anyone know of any Bariatric sites that are your go-to.

Try incorporating fermented foods, kefir, and kombucha into your diet. Just a little at a time. The good bacteria will help you digest your food. At first you might have more gas, but after the bad bacteria is reduced, the burping might go away. Kombucha is naturally carbonated, so that might not help with the burping. There are recipes online for making your own cultured food. Cultured Food Life is one of the sites and there is a podcast.
