Anyone else have complications after surgery?

I had a hematoma that grew on the staple line of my stomach. It grew about 2-3 weeks after initial surgery & I had to be hospitalized. I lost 50 lbs in one month. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

my 2 hour surgery turned into 7. dr. Found 7 hernias she had to fix . One week out I am still so sore from the hernia surgery. Can’t wait for the pain and bloating to go away. I know I just have to be patient.

I had a GI BLEED post surgery due to an unknown sensitivity to blood thinners and I lost a lot of weight too. But I had to stay in the clear liquid diet for like 7 days post op.
