Hi! I'm Lin from Watertown, NY and I'm yet another newbie.

I am 61 (almost 62 in 12 days) and have already had lapband surgery. However, I am in the 30% of people that it didn't work for. I will be having the revisionary RNY some time in March with another physician.

I honestly do not know what else to tell you about me, but it certainly is nice to meet you!

MizLin-Welcome to the forum. I am also pre-surgical and should have my surgery in January. Make sure to come back here and let us know how you are doing. Most of the people here are post-surgical and can offer all kinds of support. Since our sugery dates will only be a couple of months apart we can compare "notes". Good luck MizLin!
 
Hi Lin, We are "almost" neighbors - I'm just down the road in Mexico, NY. I had my RNY done in Rochester on 12/16/11. So far, so good! I have been spending the last two weeks focusing on my new life and I'm glad to be at the point where I can now catch up on this web site.
