My nutritionist said not in clear or full liquids stages, and only in puréed stage with surgeon’s ok.

Because it took me a week to poop after surgery even with having colace, my doctor allowed me to start taking a spoonful of benefiber with Gatorade Zero 1 week after surgery. It did the trick & everything began moving again. Each program is different of course.

It’s interesting, I reread my info and it said I can take miralax for constipation, not sure how different that is from benne fiber, but since I don’t currently have that problem, I’m listening to my team.
