Has anyone tried eating homemade pizza using cauliflower pizza crust ?
I am 5 weeks post op - almost 6 weeks and wondering
I sure would love a piece of pizza now that I can eat veggies !
I have a message into my nutritionist about this
But wondering if and when others have tried pizza again.

I am 4 months out and haven't tried pizza. I've never had the cauliflower crust but I would think it would be more digestible. Good call to contact your nutritionist.

I had a couple small slices of pizza with a cauliflower crust at about 12 or 13 weeks with sauce, some cheese, and turkey pepperoni and a few veggies. It was tasty and hit scratched the pizza itch. I've made cauliflower crust before, but it's sort of a multi-step pain to do it, so I buy frozen crusts and add my own toppings. At some point in the future, I'll do it again. I also make pizza with a almond flour and cashew flour base that is incredibly tasty, albeit higher in calories than cauliflower (and also way more filling, it would probably be a one small slice serving instead of two).
