Changes already..

That is a great way to go about it Suzie. When I first met with the surgeon back in December, they gave me a complete list of everything that would need to go and habits I would want to change. I have used the months since then to slowly change my habits. First it was cutting out caffeine, then changing my breakfast by adding protein to it (and simply eating it), then adding fruits to it, then changing my lunch in the same fashion, gave up fast food, stopped snacking, etc. I just changed one habit every two weeks so that I wasn't overwhelmed by all of the changes at once and I was slowly developing the good habits that will make this surgery a success. Keep your determination but don't take on more than you can handle all at once! It is definitely a process :)
