I am wondering how long I would have to be out of work. Or an idea of how long I have forgotten to ask.

Hi Cindy, Unfortunately we are all different, and our surgeries are performed by different surgeon so I have to say there is not a right answer. My wife and my brother-in-law were good after just a few days, but it took me almost three weeks to pull out the drains. From those I know and have read about, two weeks is about the average, there is no normal, It was not my surgeon that made mine take longer to heal it was just me as a human. Good luck, it is the best decision I have ever made in my life

Just like Cash said, it all depends. For me, 2 weeks, but I hear other people have better or worse responses. It all depends.
