Hello! I had the Gastric sleeve operation yesterday and after fasting the two days prior, and now only drinking clear liquids I’m surprised to see that I’ve actually gained weight. Is this due to the surgery and being swollen? Is this normal?

Yes, the iv fluids and your body is healing. Wait a week to weight your self you will be very happy. I had my sleeve on 2/13/20.

Yes - it's all the fluids they have pumped into your body. In my experience it did leave quickly though! Best of luck on your new life journey!
