December 6

In the liver shrink and scheduled in less than a week. Having cravings. Help!
Try to keep reminding yourself why you're doing this. Food will always be around, you will be able to eat anything you're craving down the road. It's only off the table for now. Now is the time to prove your commitment to yourself. It's just a few days longer, you can do this!

Feeling better today. The holiday leftovers were killing my willpower. Made hubby get rid of most of it. The cheese cake was the worst!
Good, definitely a tough time for a lot of us. ;)

Just finishing liquid pre op diet day. Not as hard as I thought. Swansons flavored bone broth sippers are great.
That's great you found something you like. Time will fly!

Today’s the big day!! So excited
I hope it went well today and that you're on your way to a nice pharmaceutically-induced sleep. ;) Let us know how you're doing when you're up to it.

I have had both knees replaced, and know the importance of moving and keeping the joints working. A few steps at a time will morph into a few minutes at a time and finally into long walks. It is a slow process, and can be painful, but the end result of the new you will be worth it. A side benefit of walking is the gas is released as you move.

Omg the gas pain is the absolute worst. And I am walking. Not as much as I should but I have nerve damaged legs. I’ll get through this.
Yes, the gas pain is bad the first few days. With walking, it does dissipate but can take some time. I've read posts from some members saying it took a couple weeks. I can't remember exactly how long it lasted for me but a good guess would be 4 days. Rest assured, it will go away. :)
