I've read that this could be constipation, gall stones, fatty liver, twisted intestines, ulcers, etc.
I had a sonogram of just about everything done about 10 days ago and my PCP told me I have some fat in my liver and I do have gall stones, but doesn't think either is the problem. Suggested I wait until I heal more from surger and then he'll reassess. In the mean time I still have this ache. It's more intense after I've eaten something that isn't smooth in consistancy or is a new item being added to my diet.
I'm having bloodwork done to check my liver and then will have a follow up appointment.
Has anyone ever been checked for twisted intestines? I'm certain if I bring that up I'll get some push back on testing, but after reading about it I'd really like someone to confirm that's not the case just to put my mind at ease.
I read up on gall stones and understand there is a medication that could have been prescribed to help prevent them, but wasn't. I'm rather ticked about that. Has anyone else had trouble with gall stones post-op?
