Finally got my sleeve surgery date!

Finally, my surgery is coming up August 2, 1012. Went thru heck with insurance approval. Went to Michigan bariatrics an completed all the requirements, then my insurance says I must go to a Blues preferred hospital. Now going to Beamont Bariatric. Does not require all the testing I went thru. DR Krouse is my surgeon and he is awesome. Very kind and smart. I am anxious and scared, but can hardly wait to finally get it done and hope and pray for a healthier life.

Welcome to the forum Sunny. We're "neighbors", I live in Redford!!! Being anxious and scared is perfectly normal. You'll probably feel a lot more emotions before your surgery. August is just around th corner so your surgery date will be here soon. Make sure you come back to the forum to let us know how you are doing. We will all be thinking about you when you have your surgery.

Congrats Sunny. I am 3 weeks post op for the sleeve op and I was anxious and a little scared too. I am sure you will do fine and will feel as I do now.....sooooo happy that I did it. Deep slow breaths is what got me through my nervousness. Keep in touch and let me know how it goes, good luck and prayers are coming your way. Tammy
