Finally some good news!

After I emailed the weight loss office early last week about virtual visits and hearing nothing, I got a little more bummed. But, today they called and said the dietitians are beginning virtual appointments! Yay!! I did ask if the month I missed because of my cancelled appointment would set me back a month, and she said that after my 180 days they’ll submit it to the insurance like I hadn’t missed the appointment, and she said she’ll fight with the insurance and just hope they’ll accept that a pandemic caused everything to shut down. However, if I have to wait another month I’ll be ok with that. Just happy to be back on track with them, and I’ve lost 11 pounds since my first visit in January!

That

Since I had to miss March this will be my 3rd appointment. July 27th is my 180 days from my first appointment, so it’ll just be whatever the insurance decides to do. Out of my hands, so I’ll just keep doing what I can.
Next week is my 4th appt but its a virtual appointment so don't know this was supposed to be a 2 hour fasting appointment to check my metabolism and blood. So im waiting on the email with details on this appt and how this will work.

That is such wonderful news!!! I'm really happy for you and sounds like your team is ready to fight insurance for you. :) YAY!

Unless they specified bloodwork, probably not. Labs in my area are requiring you to make an appointment, then they’ll call you when they’re ready for you to come inside. But that’s just around me in St.Louis.
