anyone out there finance their procedures? Any suggestions? My insurance does not cover bariatric surgery. I'm not sure where to start with financing it on my own
Some of the Bariatric Centers have either a way to finance your procedure or have suggestions on how to do it. You can also apply fora personal loan if your credit is good. If you have any savings you can often use that as collateral to secure the loan. Another option is to save up first and then get the surgery. In the meantime you can practice how to eat and drink and start on your protein intake. These are the only suggestions I have. Read the small print on your insurance - in rare cases they may have a statement that allows WLS under very severe circumstances.
