I've been hanging out with you all too much! I'm not even through the pre op appointments and I found myself buying these today! :D

I think it's a good idea to explore the options out there like drinks and bars. It's going to be several weeks after surgery before you can have a bar, but figuring out what you like now in the way of protein drinks and protein snacks will help you be prepared when the time comes. I'm a fan of putting things in place so I'm not tempted to eat things I shouldn't. I like the think bars, they aren't too bad.

never too soon! Before my surgery I was tasting different brands and flavors of protein shakes. I liked the Premier brand the best in Vanilla flavor since I don’t really have a sweet tooth. I didn’t like the protein water it was too sweet for me. I also got the unflavored protein powder. I started buying sugar free jello packs, popsicles, and Baby food my favorite is Mango. Unsweetened applesauce and organic broths. Also baby spoons.
