Sharon, that's so sweet of you to say! I'm so happy anything I can contribute helps anyone else on our shared journey. Isn't it shocking how little is really available in our society to learn from? I am so grateful for this group. Ive been here for 2 years and 3 months and hundreds of people have passed through. Even people who had difficulties dropped gems of wisdom on our path. This group is a true resource to the world. That's why I'm honored to be among you all.
I've been blessed with beautiful people among my resources--counselors, program coordinaters, social workers, family--and even though its a small group, its as precious as diamonds.
This group is the first thing I read in the morning and I feel connected to you all day long. I just spent a telephone therapy appointment talking about the love and wisdom I get here for at least 30 minutes.
I'm so glad we feel gratitude for eachother. Believe me, its a 2-way street.
I got my car back 2 days ago and was able to pay most of it from the GoFundMe my sister set up. I can't express my gratitude personally because so many donations were anonymous. I always make small donations anonymously to GFM campaigns that cross my path. There are so many wonderful people who donate.
Even better than money are comments of encouragement people take the time to share. Giving is truly as beautiful as receiving.
I'm crawling out of the depression a little at a time. I'm working on making beads, drawings and paintings. I'm cutting myself slack on spring cleaning, getting stuff done, sorting and disposing, making progress. As bad as I felt as a crime victim, I remind myself that I'm a survivor, and reaching out to help others quietly and privately.
Love makes the world go around. That's what I believe, and it makes me smile.
Thanks for taking the time to send me a little love. You're a very special person and your friends and family are lucky to have you.
