Good appointment

I had my counselor appointment with monthly dietitian appointment today. They both went well. When the counselor asked which surgery I was having, I told her I wasn’t sure anymore. I explained why, what’s held me back from weight loss in the past, what struggles I foresee, and she said from her POV that it seems like gastric bypass would be the better choice. I’ll see the surgeon next month, so we’ll have the conversation about that at the end of March. Other than that, the counselor seemed positive about our discussion. I guess that means I hid my craziness pretty well I asked the dietitian about probiotics, and she said that the best solution is to get the multivitamin with probiotics included. I’ve made new goals to work on in March: chew food better, take smaller bites, begin limiting fluids with meals, track breakfast, lunch, and snacks 4 days. I’m working up to tracking all 7, and I find tracking dinner very difficult since I cook everything at home. She recommended watching portion size, filling half the plate with vegetables to start, then the rest with protein and anything else we’re eating.

Sounds like you're doing amazingly! Hehe, hid the craziness? I think we all did that. ;)
