I am scheduled to have a Roux en y gastric bypass procedure on December 16th at 7:30am CT. I had originally wanted a gastric sleeve, but the endoscopy that I had showed that due to a condition in my esophageal flap (Hill Grade 4), that would not be possible. Anyway, I am excited and scared. My 3 week liquid liver-shrinking diet starts on Sunday, November 24th.

That's the surgery I had, with a gallbladder removal. I also originally wanted the sleeve but the rny is better for diabetics, so I switched. Everything went fine, it's been 4 months and it won't feel like it now but time flies. Good luck to you!
