Gross but bloody stools

Hello, I'm Rena and I'm day 3 post op rou-en-y. Yesterday morning I had a bowel movement and it was blood. Did any of you experience this? I was advised to go to ER. They kept taking blood to make sure I wasn't losing any, but basically sent me home with, "if it gets worse, come back." Ugh.

No. Blood in your stool is serious. I cannot believe they just sent you home. I would suggest calling your surgical team again. And definitely keeping an eye on the color and amount of blood involved.

Well, I haven't had a bowel movement since it happened so I'm not sure what's going on in there.
