Thanks for allowing me in. I'm 12 days out from my surgery, my surgery date is 12/28/17 and in a nervous wreck and having a hard time sticking to the 2 protein shakes and I meal of a meat and a veggies. Anyone else go through this and how did you get it back in line.

Funny thing with my surgeon is I wasn't required to go on a pre op liquid diet. Day before I was to eat breakfast,then liquids till midnight, then nothing. I probably would've struggled with that diet. Your surgery is coming up real soon.....I hope everything goes well!!! I was a nervous wreck up until they knocked me out!!

Yay! Congrats! You've got this! I wouldn't have been able to do a 2 shakes kind of liquid diet. They are gross to me. But I also wasn't allowed anything but liquids a week before surgery, how awesome you get a meal a day! If you get tired of the shakes, you could do unflavored protein in chicken broth, cream of chicken or tomato soup. I did primarily that for a week, was able to work up until the day of surgery and didn't lose any energy. Oh and I lost 13lbs that week. Anyway, best of luck next week! We'll be thinking of you! I just had my surgery on 12/18/17, I was nervous (could not sleep) but excited. When the day came the people at the hospital was very encouraging, it is nice when people are not judging you. You will do great and will be happy you did this.
