I had a sleeve Gastrectomy done in Aug 2023. I got to my docs goal weight for me at 180. I am 64 years old and 5’3”. I slowly returned to my old eating habits and have already regained some weight. Prior to this, I had a LapBand done in 2008. I realize that 2 surgeries didn’t fail me but I failed them. I didn’t follow the prescribed eating plan and never lost the amount of weight that I wanted to. I thought, in my own mind, that if I ate what I wanted, just less, I would lose weight. I did, somewhat but not enough. So here I am, I’m trying to make eating changes to get back on track, yet again. I’m hoping for inspiration and encouragement and new ideas. I’ll try to provide the same.
