I stumbled on this site to my delight. Im from Buffalo NY and Im having laproscopic gastric bypass on February 20, 2012. Im excited to start my new life and in the process of preparing my home for recovery. Im looking for friends that have been through this surgery so I can have some type of support after surgery.

Hi Suitelady, Welcome to the site. There are a lot of great people here for support. Hopefully you have also found a support group meeting near you that you can also attend and meet people to talk with, I found that a great source of support, especially in the begining.

Only 4 days away you must be on the liquid diet now, hang in there it is all worth it. If you have any questions there are a lot of folks here that can help. Let us know how everything goes, you are on your way to wonderfull journey and a healthier you. Tom
