I needed to check out an online support group as part of my pre-surgery. So I am here. I am in my late 30s I have been a big person since elementary school days. Hoping to find some pain relief post-bariatric surgery.

I am going through the same thing. My surgery is in April. You can get there. I am only 33. I have been big since my teenage years but having my kids made it worse for me. If you need someone to talk to just message me. Through these things you will need support and I will be there if you need me.

What kind of operation will you be having? I had a gastric sleeve 9 days ago. It has gone rather well for me. Food is dead to me. I have been immune to the other food in the house for my husband. So far so good. Keep checking back here. We want to hear of your progress.

I am planning on getting Roux-en-Y. I've got a little bit longer in the program before I get a date for surgery.
