My name is Justin. I'm having the gastric sleeve done soon. I'm ready for a change with my weight. Last year I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and severe sleep apnea. So, this was my push to get the gastric sleeve done. My twin brother is also getting the gastric sleeve done as well. We hope to get it done about the same time so we can see results at the same time. We are each others support Now, During and After the surgery. Our family and friends support us with this surgery. Now, time will tell.

Hi Justin! That is awesome that you will have a companion to go through this with. I had sleeve surgery on March 19th. Tomorrow is my two month anniversary and I have lost 40 lbs. Take a look around these forum topics. You'll see quite a few topics related to the various surgeries. Welcome!

That's wonderful that you and your brother have each other for support! I think that will make you both very successful in this journey. Although my sister never had weight issues, she knows what a toll it's taken on me both physically and emotionally. She's my #1 supporter on this road. I'm so grateful that I have her to share my progress with. I hope that you guys get scheduled soon and wish you the best.

I'm also new to for am but have gotten to know a few people. Nice group of people with lots of ideas and support. I haven't been scheduled yet but see my surgeon on July 17th. I suffer from severe sleep apnea as well. So I hope that alot the health problems I have will go away. Keep me posted and good luck to you and bother.

My boyfriend just got his a few weeks ago and his is quiet. He's having problems getting used to it. Up to two hours and can't tolerate it more than that. I tried his for a quick minute and didn't seem to notice anything. I don't remember any stop breathing in my report only that I go down to 76% in 02on my back. I'm a flopper at nite so it should interesting how I fair. Trying the nose pillows first to see how I do.

GM Diane! Yeah going to try them. I broke my nose playing tennis with German exchange student in high school. He accidentally did a back swing and I came forward at the same time. Lol anyway because of that I might not be able to use it but I'm gonna try. Glad you got the better machine the mouth/nose my boyfriend uses fit ok to, I think

welcome to the group Justin. I am going for the bypass. But it is good you have the support of your family and friends as well a surgery buddy so close to you. It will make going for the walks and exercise so much better for the both of you. We like to get to know all our group members.
