I had the gastric sleeve surgery on July 12th. I found this site today when looking for a support forum. Does anyone have any othe sites they recommend for post surgery info?

Welcome! How have you been doing since surgery? I got a lot of information from my surgeons website, but that was specific to post op eating and such.

Hi, welcome to the group and congrats on your surgery! I follow My Level 10 Life on YouTube by Erin Branscom and Dr. Matthew Weiner who is a bariatric surgeon. Lots of good info from those two channels. There's also tons of info here if you use the search bar or just peruse the old posts.

How are you doing with your recovery and post op eating/drinking? Which surgery did you have?

Recovery has been going well. I never realized until after the surgery how much air I swallow when taking a drink.
I had the sleeve and my surgeon does 3 days of clear liquids after the surgery and then 5 weeks of full liquids. My full liquids start tomorrow and I am looking forward to it.

This is far and above the most reasonable and hospitable online support group on the Internet. The r/gastricsleeve subreddit isn't bad either. Facebook groups are the worst. There are some other forums set up similar to this, but none as good as this one. IMHO.
