welcome whitewolf
hi I agree with Pat, about the 5 day pouch diet I've read about it on this site, I haven't had my surgery yet but I 've heard alot of people talk about gaining weight back after a year or so, I quess it's just like before the surgery, if we don't eat the protein and eat other foods the weight will come back.at least you realize what is happening and you are ready to address those issues for you know how far you've already came, don't give up , the surgery they say is a "tool" to help us loose weight and it's up to us to get the most out of the surgery. that is one of my biggest concerns , loosing the weight and then it comming back later/ food is the one thing everyone likes to eat, I know it's hard to walk away from food deal with those issues daily. this site has so many wonderful articles and people who'll share there experiences too, you're not alone alot of others have faced same issues, one bite at a time, you'll get those pounds off and get to your goal, you're still 50 pounds lighter now. I've done the same thing loose the weight and keep it off for awhile and bamb before you know it , pounds are back, I've read the protein is the biggest issue and seems to be the key to keeping the pounds away.there's always HOPE,give yourself credit for what you've accomplished and what you're going to do to reach your goal, nothing is impossible.
