Congratulations on your surgery!!! Life will certainly change but you will adapt and become content with your new normal. For now you're still on such a restricted, likely liquid diet. It gets MUCH better, I promise!

This to shall pass. I had my VSG on 2/13/20 liquid diet 2 weeks prior and 3 weeks after. Keep your eyes on the prize your stomach healing.then you can start your phases.

Chew on ice - kills two birds with one stone - fluids and chewing! I would suggest either crushed ice or Sonic ice tho.

Sonic has crushed iced, it’s like tiny ice cubes with holes, so it’s nice for crunch without all the resistance.

Yes, you can order just a cup of the ice .35 . But I usually get something for my son with my cup of ice. The sell by the bag as well.

Oddly enough it’s kind of a soft ice. I don’t chew it though because my teeth are too sensitive to cold. I used to love it though.

It is the best ice in the world for chewing!! Soft enough to not hurt your teeth, but still crunchy!
