Say, I see you had the MGB, the surgery I want. Why did you select it, as opposed to something else, like rny or sleeve? Did you go to Nevada for it? Would you recommend this type of surgery to someone else?

LOL...that's ok, I'm not good with math either!
I did have the MGB. I went to Joplin MO to have it done with Dr. David Hargorder. He is an amazing Dr. I chose it for a lot of reasons. Here is a web site that talks about it. All the reasons I like it are on there. http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-david-hargroder-2q4w4

it's reversible
with the RNY they bypass about 12 inches of your small intestines. with the MGB it is 5-6 feet. it uses a less stretchy part of the stomach so you are less likely to gain your weight back like a lot of people do with some of the other types of WLS. It's a lot less expensive too. I didn't have insurance to cover mine.
If someone is going to have WLS, I would HIGHLY recommend they go with the MGB!
