HI LOOKING FOR A LIL SUPPORT

HI MY NAME IS LUZ . I HAD MY GASTRIC SLEEVE SURGERY IN JUN OF 2020 DURING THE PANDEMIC. I NEVER GOT THE SUPPORT MEETINGS THAT I WAS OFFERED AFTER THE SURGERY. I'VE BEEN BASICALLY TRYING TO WINGING TO NO AVAIL . I DON'T LOSE WEIGHT BUT I DON'T GAIN EITHER WHICH IS A PLUS. IT IS VERY DEPRESSING I FEEL STUCK.

Having surgery during the pandemic must have been especially challenging, and I can understand how difficult it would be to miss out on the support and follow-up connections that many people rely on after surgery. Trying to navigate everything on your own for several years is a lot to carry.

It is discouraging to feel stuck, but maintaining your weight is still an accomplishment, especially over the long term. That tells me you've been doing more things right than you may be giving yourself credit for.

It's never too late to reconnect with support, learn new strategies, and make adjustments if that's what you want to do. Many of us have gone through periods where we felt stalled or frustrated. You are not alone in that.

Be kind to yourself. You've been navigating this journey under some very unusual circumstances, and reaching out here is a positive step forward.
