Hi Debbi, I think you put the hammer on the nail when you suggested it may have been not enough follow up and counciling, the more surgeries the do the more they learn and I think as time goes by the success rate will go up, over time they found people need supplamental vitamins long term, the sleeve can be as effective as the RmY and long term follow up increases long term success, those are some of the things I learned at my local support group.
