Hi I am Ashley I am 36 and i had a rny in June of 2011. I am considered an unsuccessful case by the hospital that performed my surgery. I didn't have a specific weight in mind when I got the surgery my goal was to save my life because they said if I didn't I would not of lived to be 30 well I am now 36 and down to 280 from 600 so I wouldn't consider myself unsuccessful I concider myself a work in progress

That is so incredible that you have come so far from your original pre-surgery weight. How irresponsible of those making such a judgment over an arbitrary number on a bmi or weight/height chart. As far as I (and everyone else here) are concerned, You. Are. Awesome. You. Are. Successful. And you rock!!!

Do you want to continue working on a healthier you? I guess we all want to do that here. If you wish to have non-judgmental support, advice, and encouragement, we can offer all of the above to you. Please let us know, but be proud of all the NSVs you have accomplished so far. These include lots of pretty new clothes, being able to go through stores without needing to stop every couple of minutes, less aches & pains, being able to see your toes lol, etc. Yay you!!! ❤❤❤❤
