Hi everyone!
Hi everyone! I have a question for those who menstruate. Has anyone experienced spotting or bleeding after their period had already ended during the first few weeks or months after bariatric surgery? My provider mentioned that the hormonal changes and rapid weight loss can sometimes affect menstrual cycles. If this happened to you, how long did it last, and did it eventually resolve on its own? Thank you!

I have not personally experienced this, but it makes sense that post surgery, the rapid weight loss and hormonal changes could affect the menstrual cycle. Hopefully others who have been through it will share their experiences.
