How long after surgery does the pain/soreness last???

I had the Rouen Y and I know that we just underwent major surgery however, I was was wondering "on average" how long the pain and soreness lasts?

I had the Rouen Y and I know that we just underwent major surgery however, I was was wondering "on average" how long the pain and soreness lasts?

My operation was done laparoscopically. My soreness lasted about a month. I never really had the bad pain I was expecting. I was on pain meds for a week then didn't need it anymore.
