HOW TO TREAT LOW BLOOD SUGAR AFTER THE SLEEVE

I was wondering how people treat low blood sugar after having surgery? I am at work or traveling so I dont have access to things I may keep at hom. I would have normally drank a soda, but I cant do that now. I ate some skittles but feel that may be hard to digest.

Pack up some ziplock bags with the things you need and take it with you. Have some premixed protein drinks too. Ask your doctor for suggestions. That's what they're there for.

There are glucotabs in the pharmacy. They are good for raising up low blood sugar. It has two kinds of sugar, a fast acting part and a slower digesting part. The combination is good to raise it up without having a drop afterwards. You should still back it up with protein or a meal within an hour. It's very good for traveling.
