I cant stand the sweetness lol

Are there any other things I can consume than protein shakes to get my protein in on stage 3? These shakes are just wayyyyy to sweet and even deluted it's hard to not get nauseous. I do have my bone broth but that's only 9 grams of protein. My how my sweet tooth has changed lol.
 
Is stage 3 full liquid? I added unflavored protein to soup. Even though you have to let it cool, I was very excited to eat something savory instead of sweet, even if it was lukewarm. I just saw a tip on here that if you mix the unflavored protein into cold water and then mix it into soup, that works better. I wish I would have known that during my liquid phase!!

I am on clear liquids and protein shakes. I am on day 7 post op.
 
I have the same thing going on. Everything is too sweet. I started cutting my flavored protein powder with unflavored protein powder. This seems to take the sweetness down a notch. I also use chilled light decaf coffee to balance out the sweetness of some shakes, and that has also helped quite a bit.
 
What unflavored protein powder do u use?
Isopure makes a good unflavored powder. I find it to be very neutral and easily mixed. One scoop has 25 grams of protein. I will add it to a serving (or 1/2 serving for more desweetening effect) of vanilla or chocolate to knock the sweetness down a bit. You might have to play with the ratios and the amount of liquid to get the right taste and texture for you.

I forgot to mention that you might try adding unsweetened plain yogurt to your protein drinks. It can give the sting a nice tangy balance to the sweetness. It would also add several grams of protein.
