I’ve been preparing for my gastric bypass since April. Part of that preparation included visiting this site, reading about everyone’s experiences and learning how to plan for life after surgery. I appreciate how open everyone is about their own personal challenges and successes.

So... I think it’s time to introduce myself. My name is Jenn and my surgery is scheduled for 2/13/2020. Should make for an interesting Valentine’s Day for me and the hubby.

I look forward to hearing more of your stories and learning from you all.

Hi Jenn! It's great that you stepped out of the shadows. February will be here before you know it! There are several bypass folks here that can help you every step of the way. I had a wimpy sleeve that is serving me well so far. LOL
Welcome and good luck!

Hi Jenn and welcome!!!

I had my surgery on March 11th so I'll be 11 months ahead of you. :) If you have any specific questions, please let us know.

I can honestly say that this has been the best decision I ever made. I feel healthy and confident and so much happier than I did 9 months ago. It's life changing.

Hi Jenn welcome to the group. I’m 3 months in. It was a little bit of a struggle at first. But there is nothing I would change.
You are on your way to a longer, healthier life.
