I'm sorry you're feeling that way. It sounds like you've worked incredibly hard since your surgery, and it must be frustrating to feel like something else is now affecting your confidence.
One thing I've learned is that our minds can be quick to focus on the thing that bothers us most in the moment, even after we've achieved something as life-changing as major weight loss. That doesn't make your feelings any less real, but I hope you don't lose sight of everything you've accomplished since 2011.
A loss of 286 pounds is remarkable, and while your concerns about your teeth are valid, they don't define you or erase all the positive changes you've made. I hope you're able to give yourself some of the same grace and compassion that you would offer someone else in your situation.
