Last steps to surgery

I'm on my last few steps before my surgery is scheduled. I have about 5 more pounds to lose, and am waiting for the psychologist to fax over my psych. evaluation. It's been two weeks since. I called today to find out the holdup so hopefully I know something soon. I'm going to be having the sleeve.

I got the call today, my surgery is scheduled for June 8th! I'm so excited! Luckily I have a bunch of summer clothes to wear as my weight goes down, so this really is perfect timing!!!

Hope your surgery went well. I go June 14th the liquid diet is hard trying to get my protein in and can't drink the shakes I gag every time I try to drink it. I found isopure and drink 3 of those a day at 40 grams of protein per drink. Love to hear how your surgery went.

Hi! I am scheduled for gastric bypass on June 16th, but my Dr. Only ordered me on a liquid diet for 7 days. I wonder why, as I read, it seems like the norm is 14 days.

I think it depends as I only had to do it for 24 hours
