Hi all.... just found this site...I'm scheduled for surgery Sept 29th. However my surgeon had me do an endoscopy. ..& they found I have a stomach full of small ulcers! ! I had no clue. ..now on a bunch of meds for a quick fix..I have a follow up appt next Fri re: ulcers...has anyone had any experience with this? I so hope this doesn't hole up my surgery date. .I'm so ready to have this done!!!

Most likely your ulcers will have to mend before they will do surgery.
I am happy he found them.
What procedure are you considering?
I had the gastric bypass. We have to be careful with our new small stomachs, especially the gastric bypass, since we are more prone to getting ulcers simply because we have newer smaller stomachs. I think the gastric sleeve is less prone to ulcers over the long term.
In any event talk to your surgeon more. Get all the information you can. Stay with us. Many of us have had a hiatus on this forum, but we do come back. Summer was a busy time for many of us.
Welcome. Post your starting weight, your goal, your decision as to which surgery you want to have, etc.,etc.
