May 27th High WBC

Hey all my White Blood Cell Count is slightly elevated and my surgery is scheduled for this upcoming Wednesday. I am just wondering if anyone else had an elevated WBC prior to surgery?

not for this surgery but for another, my daughter had a slightly elevated white blood cell count and she was put on a course of antibiotics and surgery postponed.

Each surgeon and anesthesiologist have their own beliefs so one size does not fit all.
