Medicine allowed during pre-op diet phase

I’m one week in of pre-op diet and now I’m getting a cold .. KY crud weather. Am I allowed to take cold medicine?

For sure this is a question for your bariatric team, especially this close to surgery. Good luck from a WV friend that usually shares y'all's crud weather LOL

You should verify with your team but I was told I could do everything I normally would up until the day of surgery. (Except eat of course, haha) Told my surgeon I was taking over the counter stuff and he said just stop the night before surgery.
