New but need help

Hi everyone!
I finally had my surgery a year and a half after I’d started the process. It’s been six months and I wouldn’t say it’s been easy.

I’ve just now started to be able to eat more normal things. I lost 80 lbs but I threw up most everything. Right now I’m struggling with what and how to eat. I want to eat healthy but it seems unhealthy things like chips, cookies, and fast food like tacos and nachos stay down. I don’t cook a lot so just ordered some gastric bypass recipe books. But I need simple or things I can freeze. Any advice or help? My freezer is full of things I “try” but don’t work out.

Thank you, that is helpful. I am just now starting to branch out and try foods to see what works. Once a food makes you miserable from dumping syndrome u don’t want to eat that again. Found that out with ice cream. I have been looking at alternative products though. Halo top low cal ice cream is wonderful and has protein in it. I appreciate the positive response and the encouragement. Thank you.
