My surgery date is November 13. I have also been off since August 19 for a rotator cuff surgery that involved two other procedures in the shoulder.
So while I am off work for the shoulder surgery recovery, I will be off a little bit longer with Sleeve. I have been a nurse since 1984, doing a lot of different specialties. My last specialty and favorite has been caring for disabled kids in their homes.
I have finally reached the end of every day a program known to man. My endocrine system has never worked right and now I have some abnormal lab work at the doctors can’t really explain. It looks like I have lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis starting up. My liver is showing some stress. It is time to make a giant change ! I am a gentle and compassionate person and tend to get pushed around by people so I am learning how to say no and be more assertive.
