I had band to bypass revision in May 2022 and haven't had any issues with volume of food or liquids. Although you are much newer along in the process, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm back on a full diet and sometimes feel like my restriction and volume of food I can eat are similar to when I had the band. My bariatric team said that often band to bypass may not feel too differently in volume of food since I was already used to eating smaller portions so we can self-regulate portion size a bit better. It's a learning process. After surgery, our bodies go through a lot of changes adapting to the digestive track changes, calorie restrictions, surgery trauma and recovery, etc. Although it may feel disappointing at times when the numbers on the scale aren't moving as expected, it will come when your body is ready. Follow your nutritionist's recommendations and be patient. My weight loss has seemed slower than some, but I'm okay with that. It's a journey in the right direction. We also lose weight at different rates based on our ages, activity level, overall health, starting weight, etc. Hang in there! You've got this!
