Hi, I am from Michigan about a little over an hour from Detroit. I am just about 6 weeks out and almost ready to try real food. Right now I eat can chicken, tuna and eggs with light mayo and onion. I tried bake fish and that didnt work well a couple weeks ago but I will try again soon. There is up and down's with this but I have found help on this site it does help to know your not alone with what your struggling with. Stay in touch and I am sure someone can help if you have a question.

Denise-Your meal plan sounds exactly like mine :) I'm almost 10 weeks out and still can't handle baked fish yet tuna with lite mayo is OK. I can eat chicken too as long as it's canned with a little lite mayo. I tried some roasted chicken 2 weeks ago and it didn't like me very well *LOL* I've been making homemade soups with lots of veggies, no potatoes or pasta in it. I also eat Morning Star Farms soy based "meat". I especially like the Tomato Basil Pizza Burgers and the Hickory Ribs. I even have a difficult time eating lean ground beef unless it's in soup that's been simmered a long time. Cottage cheese, cream of wheat and oatmeal work good too and I started having salads 5 days ago.
