Dkmallory-Welcome to the forum and congratulations on deciding to have WLS. How wonderful to be able to live in a RV!!! I sometimes think that's the way to live but my health issues prevent me from considering it as a permanent way of life. How long have you been living in your RV or is this just a temporary adventure?

Make sure to come back to visit us and let us know how your weight loss journey is going.

Thanks for the warm welcomes..I love the RV lifestyle. My husband and I started traveling in 2005 and sold our home in Louisiana about 2 1/2 yrs ago and went fulltime RV'ing. Unfortunatley I lost my husband last month from a freak accident and really thought about NOT having the WLS, but after talking to fmly members and having already had a surgery date scheduled I decided to go thru with it..I'm so glad I did. My complications were that there was so much swelling (dr did a hiatal hernia repair the same time as the bypass) that there was only a pin hole opening to my stomach so I had to go thru 2 endoscopies to stretch the opening of the stomach. All is good now.. I am down 15 lbs as of this morning and return to the dr on Tuesday. I hope to continue the RV lifestyle solo, see the U.S. and meeet tons of ppl and make new friends along the way...
