Hey y'all!!
My name is Carla and I am from Little Rock, Arkansas. I had a gastric sleeve May of 2023. I have absolutely no regrets. Wait, I do have one. I regret that I didn't do this a long time ago! To be honest, I had never even heard of a gastric sleeve when I first started this journey. I must am struggling a bit now. I have been at a standstill with my weight for the last two years, at least. I have to admit that I struggle with getting enough protein and drinking water. I'm trying, but at times I get discouraged. I joined this group to get support and learn as much as I can about how to navigate this new lifestyle and how to achieve and sustain my weight loss.

Welcome, Carla! You've had a lot of success with your sleeve, and I have the same regret - that I didn't do it sooner!

Have you ever tried using an app to track your protein and water intake? Many people are surprised by how much it helps because it takes the guesswork out of it and can reveal patterns we don't notice otherwise. Even tracking for a week or two can be very eye-opening. There are 2 really good apps; MyFitnessPal and Baritastic. I have been using MyFitnessPal for 5 years but either one is a great help.
