NEW to this site,m 2 1/2 years out, looking for support- i am sure there is someone out there seeking support right?
 
Hi Busymomof2. Welcome. There are a lot of great people here, it is a fantastic online support group, epecially when someone can't get to one on a regular basis, I get to one about once a month about an hour away from where I live. What kind of surgery did you have I had the RnY and still 20 lbs from my goal. There are people here with band and sleeve. Hope everything is going well for you. :cool: Tom

i had the bypass, no lapband! i wanted the whole works you could say,for over well amlost 2 years i was 10 lbs away from 150 my goal weight and after the holidays i was going towards 165! WHF-sorry, but what is happening,so i found this site, bought the book 5 day pouch test, then slapped myself in the head and said u jackwagon! use your tool!!! so here i am...searching for folks like me, i lost 117lbs healthy, feel good, but dont want the weight to creep on because i can eat rice,pasta,bread, all the bad carbs!! which i wish would make me sick, to stay away, but NO it has to be jelly and organge juice!! go figure!!!, can't wait to meet more people!!!
 
It's pasta, white bread and surgary filled stuff don't agree with me so those are easy to stay away from, I limit myself with potatoes, corn based foods and other breads as to not over do it, they will also make me sick if I have too much :(. I have been at 195 for a while but I feel real good and work out about an hour a day 4-5 times a week, and still weigh or measure everything I eat. I have started cutting back on the carbs to about 2 sevings a day and focus on more meats and dairy with a protien shake after my work outs, I keep telling my self to count calories but I just need to apply myself and quit being too busy.
