Newbie

I know the feeling! My sleeve surgery was 12/16/20. I use My Fitness Pal to track my food and nutrients and try to have a water bottle with me at all times. I try to stick with the suggested diet my dr provided. So far so good. And reading a lot of the posts here has helped a lot too! Good Luck!!

I'm glad you found us and congrats on your surgery. It will get easier so don't worry. There is a lot of timing in the beginning that can get a bit overwhelming. Remembering to take your vitamins, meds, liquid, protein and exercise. But like anything it will become second nature after you do it a while. Good luck on your journey!

Those first few weeks can be quite the ordeal...so many adjustments, so many emotions and a ton of strange new things going on inside your body. Things generally normalize a bit once you start eating regular food again and find your progress zone.

Congrats on your surgery. It IS a lot those first few weeks to try to get your protein, get your water, get some exercise. It seems like the entire focus of your life is going to be this surgery. It absolutely gets better. For now, you can supplement your water/protein intake with some clear protein, which for some is easier to stomach than protein shakes. Isopure Zero Carb was what I used for the first few weeks. It's not cheap but it has 40g of protein per 20oz bottle, which is the highest I have seen.
